Google has been allowing Gmail users to send large files through its Drive service for several years now. For its part, the Apple Mail application allows you to download attachments directly from iCloud. Now, and after years of waiting, it’s finally Microsoft Outlook’s turn to get up to speed. In a blog post, the Redmond firm confirmed the deployment of a similar feature for its messaging:
” Outlook accounts, when you try to attach a file to an email that has reached the maximum size limit, or when an attachment pushes the email past this limit, you will be prompted to upload the file to OneDrive so that you can still easily share the document “.
Like Google with Drive and Apple with iCloud, Outlook customers will now be able to download their files easily from OneDrive. This will be officially possible from next September.
