  • The Ukrainian army announced on Tuesday that it had repelled Russian attacks near Avdiivka, in eastern Ukraine. Russians “attempt to surround the city”, the head of the military administration, Vitalii Barabash, said during the day, while Avdiïvka had been under Russian fire since the morning. According to him, some 1,600 residents still live in Avdiivka, compared to 30,000 before the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

  • Helsinki suspects external intervention for the leak in the Finland-Estonia gas pipeline. Finnish investigators have not found any signs of the use of explosives, but the Norwegian Institute of Seismology said Tuesday it had detected a “probable explosion” in the area of ​​the leak.
