You could almost confuse it with a refrigerator. However, Aerium does not contain a carton of milk or a carton of eggs, but rather coats, shoes or gloves. This 2 m high by 50 cm wide device promises to dry clothes (to a certain extent) but above all to refresh them, in particular to rid them of stubborn odors. Inside, we find a compendium of sophisticated technologies to achieve this goal.

The capacity of the wardrobe still seems very limited.

For example, a steam generator must eliminate certain bacteria and soften the fibers of the linen in order to eliminate the most marked creases. To absorb humidity, Miele did not turn to conventional heating elements, but rather to a heat pump thanks to which the temperature inside the wardrobe cannot exceed 60°C in order not to damage the clothes. If Miele has equipped its Aerium with FragranceDos homemade odor capsules, the German company has also developed a slightly less chemical solution called Hyonic Plasma: ionized air eliminates bacteria and viruses, even at low temperatures, to sanitize laundry. It should be noted that the manufacturer has provided a Hepa filter so that the harmful elements which have been extracted from the sanitized clothing are not released into the atmosphere.

As was the case on the Samsung AirDresser, the hangers on which the clothes are hung are special. Called AeroHangers, they have air outlets so that the flow is distributed both outside the clothes and inside.

It is thanks to a set of sensitive keys (which are only displayed once the Aerium is powered on) on the front that the user selects one of the programs offered, a bit like on a washing machine. -tumble dryer or tumble dryer. Let us point out that to further underline the exclusive and premium side of the Aerium laundry room, it benefits from the Knock2open function: all you need to do is knock twice on the door for it to open and provide access to inside the cabin to place (or take out) clothes, shoes or other items of clothing that the user has placed there to cool them.
