Migration trailer: after Super Mario, a Frenchman is at the helm of the Christmas Lights film!

After Minions, All on Stage and Super Mario Bros, discover the new film from Illumination studios: Migration by Benjamin Renner (The Big Bad Fox and other tales).

Six years after the excellent animated film The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales, French director Benjamin Renner returns with his new project: Migration.

First film in collaboration with the animation studio Illumination to which we owe the successes: Despicable Me, Minions, All Ahead and Super Mario Bros, Migration follows a family of ducks. They manage to convince their overprotective father to go on vacation during their migration – from New England through New York to the Bahamas.

These first images allow us to discover the heroes of the feature film and give us a first glimpse of the tone of Benjamin Renner’s film, which seems quite faithful to that of the Big Bad Fox.

Screenwriter and director, Benjamin Renner made his debut directing a feature film in 2012 alongside Vincent Patar and Stéphane Aubier for the very beautiful Ernest et Célestine, awarded the César for Best Animated Film. Three years later, he adapted his comic strip for the screen, The Big Bad Fox and other tales and once again received the César for Best Animated Film.

Written by Mike White (The White Lotus), Migration will be released in theaters on December 6.
