Of the 433 kindergartens and daycare centers, 392 are already in the new funding model. The remaining facilities now have three years to switch to the new funding system. This system relieves the burden on parents by no longer being able to charge a contribution for the education and care of children (except for meals, craft contributions and possible costs for additional staff such as native speakers).
