Miley Cyrus ft. Dua Lipa: Bloody video for the new song "Prisoner"

Miley Cyrus released a song with Dua Lipa. The video clip for "Prisoner" features bloody kisses, spiders and glam rock style.

US star Miley Cyrus (27, "Midnight Sky") has released a new song from her upcoming album. The piece is called "Prisoner" and is a collaboration with the British singer Dua Lipa (25, "Future Nostalgia"). The video for the song has been out since that night – and that shows a pretty bloody, but also stylish road trip.

Glam rock, cherries and lots of blood

The two artists can be seen in the dark, partly avant-garde clip on their way to an appearance. Their outfits and the styling in the tour bus and later stage scenes are reminiscent of the punk and glam rock greats of the 1980s. The fact that the clip is not only stylish and a bit sexy, but also pretty bloody, shows right at the beginning.

At some point Miley can only be seen with red, blood-like fluid flowing down her chin. And the topic of spiders runs right through to the very end of the seductive dance party of the two artists, who eat cherries in between while they lick the juice off each other's faces …

The seventh studio album "Plastic Hearts" by Miley Cyrus, which also includes "Prisoner", will be released on November 27th.
