Miley Cyrus’ dramatic flight: Her plane apparently got caught in a “violent storm” and was “struck by lightning”.
Miley Cyrus (29) apparently has a horror flight behind her. On Instagram, the singer reports on her trip to Asunción, which had to be cut short. The reason: “Our plane unexpectedly ran into a violent storm and was struck by lightning”, she writes on Instagram. In addition, she shares a video from inside the aircraft, in which a window is suddenly brightly lit from the outside. Another photo shows a clear sheet metal damage.
However, Cyrus gives the all-clear: “My crew, band, friends and family, who all traveled with me, are safe after an emergency landing.” However, the trip to Paraguay was canceled, she continues to write and adds a broken heart emoji to her comment.
Festival in Paraguay canceled for the time being
The singer would have performed in the capital of Paraguay at the Asuncionico Festival. Due to massive flooding, the organizers via Twitter canceled the first day of the concert anyway. It is therefore still unclear whether further concerts will take place. In addition to Cyrus, appearances by the Foo Fighters, Doja Cat (26) and Machine Gun Kelly (31) would have been planned on the first day of the festival.
