Still record activity after 9 months

In an economic context that weighs on household budgets, Miliboo recorded in the 3

th

quarter 2022-23 solid revenue of €11.0 million,

slightly down -4.4% from the high level of 3

th

quarter 2021-22. Over the period, the adjustment of the commercial policy made it possible to compensate for the cyclical decline in volumes. The average basket stands at 345 euros, up +16.3% compared to the 3

th

quarter 2021-22.

In France (87% of sales), sales amounted to €9.5 million, down €0.4 million. This quarterly decline comes solely from third-party marketplaces, which are less profitable. Excluding marketplaces, activity in stores and the site itself increased by +3.2%, confirming the relevance of the phygital model.

Internationally

quarterly sales amounted to €1.4 million, almost stable compared to last year (-€0.1 million), with sales still concentrated in Germany, Spain and Italy .

9-month turnover thus increased to €32.3 million, up +8.2%. This level represents a new activity record for the Group over the period.

Sharp rise in gross margin in 3

quarter (+6 points vs H1 2022-23)

The trade policy adjustment is bearing fruit. The gross margin rate thus rose sharply to more than 57% on average over the 3

th

quarter, i.e. an increase of 6 points compared to the average for the 1

er

semester. It is also above that of the 3

th

quarter of 2021-22, which had marked the start of the cyclical erosion.

The level of activity and the return to a more normative gross margin rate enabled Miliboo to return to positive operating profitability in this 3

th

quarter.

Outlook for the rest of the 2022-23 financial year

Faced with an economic context offering little visibility, Miliboo will continue to focus its commercial policy on its best-selling products, ensuring their high availability.

The Group also aims to pursue the optimization of its gross margin rate and good control of operating costs, in order to confirm its return to operational profitability.
