Milla Jovovich: babysitter for Bruce Willis’ daughters

Milla Jovovich, 48, has revealed that she acted as a babysitter for the daughters of her colleague Bruce Willis, 69, and his then-wife Demi Moore, 61, during the filming of the film “The Fifth Element” (1997).

Milla Jovovich thinks Bruce Willis’ daughters are “so cool”

Because Bruce Willis was “a lot older than me,” she got along better with Demi Moore and the children. In an interview with the US portal “People”, Jovovich said that behind the scenes she even looked after her daughters Rumer, 35, Scout, 32, and Tallulah, 30, who were still small at the time. “We listened to music and danced together.” So she was able to treat Willis and Moore to “some mommy-dad time” on the sidelines of filming. “I was like an older sister,” said the 48-year-old. The whole clan is “a special family”.

Even 27 years later, she still has contact with the three women. “They’re so cool and such wonderful girls. They have such a great relationship with Demi and I love that. I think of them as a family unit and I just think what they’ve created is wonderful.”

“One of those shining moments”

She finds it unimaginable that the crazy science fiction classic “The Fifth Element” is celebrating its 27th birthday on May 7th: “I can’t believe I’ve reached this point. So many anniversaries!” The role alongside Bruce Willis was “one of those shining moments in my life and in my career.” The film was “a special moment,” her character Leelo “a special character.”

The film also starred Chris Tucker, 52, who also recalled filming to People in November. He had “great, great times” with Jovovich and Willis on set. “Of course I pray for him,” said Tucker, referring to the action star, who suffers from dementia. “Seeing him was always great. I’ll never forget it. Working with him was a great time.”
