"Stranger Things" star Millie Bobby Brown mourns his grandmother on Instagram. She says goodbye with touching words.
Heavy loss for "Stranger Things" star Millie Bobby Brown (16): the actress mourns the loss of her grandmother Ruth. “I can't find any words that make sense at the moment,” the 16-year-old writes about a black and white video on Instagram in which granddaughter and grandmother kiss each other on the cheek and smile happily at the camera. As she explains herself, her grandmother died as a result of her Alzheimer's disease.
"I don't know how to feel about it. Loss is something complex. I go through phases in which I can't stop crying. Then I laugh at all the memories and then sit still again and try to understand what is happening is, "writes the 16-year-old in her post. Alzheimer's is evil and cruel. "To take away from someone the ability to remember and then function like a human. It's so hard to sit there and watch."
Millie Bobby Brown couldn't say goodbye in person
Due to the corona pandemic, the actress was unable to say goodbye to her personally. "Because of Covid-19, I couldn't come home to hug you one last time. FaceTime was all we had," continues the 16-year-old. "I've sung to you as much as my voice could take, even when you were sleeping."
She loved her grandma so much and will tell everyone about her. "I hope that you will watch over me and protect me like you did when I was little."
