‘This Is US’ Star Coming to New Series?

Milo Ventimiglia celebrated great success with “This Is Us”. Now the actor is said to have landed a new leading role.
US actor Milo Ventimiglia (44) has a new role on the line. The American television network ABC has according to “Variety” ordered a pilot episode of “The Company You Keep”. Ventimiglia is set to star in the series while also producing the drama.
The project is based on the Korean format “My Fellow Citizens” published in 2019. In the series, the Hollywood star is supposed to play the trickster Charlie. A passionate night leads to love between him and undercover CIA agent Emma, who are unknowingly on a collision course professionally. As he ramps up the “family business,” she tracks down the vengeful criminal running Charlie’s family debt.

Ventimiglia’s last TV project was the NBC series This Is Us. With the end of the show after the sixth season, his role as Jack Pearson also ends. He received three consecutive Emmy nominations for Best Actor in a Drama Series for his work on the show. The star had his breakthrough role as badboy Jess Mariano in the 2001 series Gilmore Girls.
Julia Cohen writes and produces The Company You Keep. She has worked on series such as Dallas, The Royals and Riverdale. She also served as an associate producer on Quantico and A Million Little Things. In addition to his starring role, Ventimiglia will also serve as a producer.
