Mimi Fiedler: “Our first grandchild has landed”

Mimi Fiedler, 45, is overjoyed: her first grandchild saw the light of day. “Our first grandchild has landed and is opening a new chapter for our blended family,” writes the actress about a cute snapshot showing the tiny hands of the newborn.

“Beloved little prince, there will be many hands to carry you and arms in which you are safe, and people who will show you without question that you are welcome in this world,” continues Fiedler. “We are grateful to God that you are alive and well – may it stay that way forever.” The 45-year-old ends her emotional posting with the words: “This love for you is indescribable. Your Omimi & your Opotto.” Touching nicknames that go to the heart – and show that Fiedler is already fully enjoying her new role.

Mimi Fiedler leaves open who exactly is the baby of the sweet offspring. The reference to the blended family could, however, be a sign that Fiedler is not the birth grandma and that it is not the child of her daughter Ava.

Ava comes from the TV star’s first marriage, which divorced in 2002 just two years after they were married. After that, Mimi Fiedler got engaged four times. The actress has been with TV producer and sports official Otto Steiner, 58, since October 2017, and she married him in January 2019. Steiner has four children.
