Thursday March 10, 2022, Mimie Mathy gave an interview to the magazine Gala. During the latter, the star of Joséphine guardian angel opened up about her daily life, but also about the things she cannot do because of her notoriety.
For twenty-five years, Mimie Mathy has been playing in the series Josephine guardian angelon TF1. If the star is currently the godmother of the Enfoirés troupe and appears regularly on television, it is with her husband, out of sight, that the actress is the happiest. In an interview with the magazine Galait is with emotion that she revealed: “The day of my union with Benoist at the town hall of Neuilly-sur-Seine, I felt more happy than famous. Better to be happy than famous.“Happy to have celebrated this special day with these loved ones, Mimie Mathy added:”As for my family, that day, they realized that I was living normally despite the vagaries of this job. Celebrity is part of it, and she lives in sharing with her friends (…) I am lucky to have succeeded. I’m also lucky to be popular, and that’s not a dirty word.“
If she earned 250,000 euros per episode of Josephine guardian angel, the actress assures that she leads a simple life. “Basically, I repeat, I live normally. I do my shopping, my laundry…“, she declared. If Mimie Mathy likes to meet her fans, her notoriety prevents her from doing everything she wants. In all transparency, she indeed explained: “Sometimes I would like to go shopping at Galeries Lafayette, but it is not possible. Just like spending the month of August at a campsite. And I have no desire to find myself in a swimsuit in a magazine!“
