The creators of Desperados III and of Shadow Tactics are back with a new project titled Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew. As with these previous titles, Mimimi Games relies on top-down tactical stealth gameplay, embellished with real-time strategy. But this time no publisher behind, the studio intends to release its new game in self-publishing. If no precise release date has been set for the moment, Shadow Gambit should however see the light of day in 2023, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew will take you to the Lost Caribbean, a mysterious string of islands fallen under the yoke of the forces of the Inquisition. Trouble is, these soldiers can’t stand the existence of anything supernatural, and hunt down cursed pirates like you. Aboard a ghost ship, the pirate Afia and her crew will try to get their hands on the mysterious treasure of the legendary Captain Morchedai. While fighting to defeat the Inquisition who will get in his way.
Each of the 8 crew members can be controlled by day and will have unique supernatural powers. So you will have to know how to use everyone’s skills to defeat your enemies.
