Minecraft adds a player reporting system

A large part of the Minecraft community takes advantage of online multiplayer servers, created by the community, to indulge in various activities, including PvP. If these servers are managed by administrators, who can ban players adopting inappropriate behavior, it was not really possible to send a report to report a player.

This will change thanks to the 22w24a snapshot, already available on the Java version. The developers have actually implemented a small feature that should make it possible to ban toxic users, quite simply. This concerns messages in the Minecraft chat, deemed abusive. You can select them via the social interactions menu (P key on PC by default). You can then highlight the messages you want to report while having the possibility to add additional comments, if necessary.

Reports will then be processed and sanctions applied if the messages are deemed inappropriate. The feature will definitely arrive shortly in Minecraft, on all versions. For the rest of the 22w24a snapshot, which essentially fixes many issues, note that a change is applied for the Allay, who can now dance. You can find all the details on the official website.

Minecraft recently received its annual major update, the Wild Update. This brings a plethora of new features, in terms of biomes, mobs and crafting. For example, it is now possible to cross paths with frogs, explore the mangrove biome or create a boat with a chest.
