Minecraft: The Creative Inventory gets a makeover with the new Snapshot


It was during Minecraft Live on October 15 that the developers of Mojang Studios announced several upcoming changes to Minecraft including version 1.20. But before its release, and as usual, the cubic title takes advantage of several Snapshots in order to introduce little by little all the new content planned, and if last week we had the right to publication of Snapshot 22w42a with the introduction of the dromedary, bamboo and hanging panels, this week we welcome the Snapshot 22w43a which is largely focused on creative inventory.

On the program of this one, several changes therefore concerning this famous creative inventory with: the addition of certain blocks, a general reorganization of the plants or the reorganization of the blocks of color through their gradient. This way, players should experience a higher quality of life by navigating through all of the creative mode inventory tabs more easily.

In addition, some changes also regarding the in-game chat with the reports that now indicate when a reported player has joined a text channel, but also the possibility of keeping these famous reports in draft format (the draft remains kept until ‘until the player decides to publish or delete it).

Finally, our friends the dromedaries also benefit from some changes with the color of the spawn egg which has been modified, as well as an improvement in its walk cycle.

New Creative Inventory Changes

The changes to the Creative Inventory controls have generated a lot of feedback.

CHANGES

  • Changed creative tab icons for better color coding and to show off the most iconic visuals.
  • The Nature Blocks tab has been renamed Natural Blocks.
  • Moved dirt and stones to the top of the Natural Blocks tab, which was a big request from many people (saying they use these blocks a lot more than flowers etc.)
  • Fixed water bottles not appearing in the Consumables tab.
  • Reorganized the quartz so that the smooth quartz is a separate section of blocks.
  • Creeper blocks are now grouped together in the Natural Blocks tab.
  • Fixed order of waxed copper blocks
  • Fixed order of coral blocks to be consistent.
  • Make sure the Netherrack is next to the Nylium in the Natural Blocks tab.
  • Rearranged equipment so tools and golden weapons are in a logical order.
  • Moved normal rails before special rails.
  • Classification of color blocks according to their gradient (Wool, Terracotta, Candles, Banners, Stained Glass, etc.)
  • Panels have been moved higher in the Building Blocks tab, as they are used quite often by players.
  • Basalt Blocks are now found after Nether Brick Blocks in the Building Blocks tab, next to Black Stone.
  • General plant reorganization of the Natural Blocks tab.
