In an emergency, the smartphone replaces a flashlight, no question. But in many cases a real flashlight is still indispensable. However, modern representatives have nothing in common with the sometimes bulky, extremely expensive and unwieldy flashlights of the 80s and 90s: the modern flashlight is extremely bright thanks to LEDs, but remains incredibly compact. These types of flashlights exist
The flashlights featured here are EDC lamps (EDC = “Every-Day-Carry”), i.e. normal all-round flashlights for daily use. Besides that, there are those tactical flashlight, which is characterized, among other things, by being particularly bright and robust. Tactical flashlights can also be used, for example, for self-defense or to smash windows, which is why these lamps are mainly used in a professional environment, such as by rescue workers.
