Just a week after she buried her grandfather, Miranda Kerr now has to say goodbye to her grandma too.
Miranda Kerr (37) mourns her grandmother. Just a week after her grandfather was buried, her grandmother has also died, as the model writes in an emotional post on Instagram. "You are the heart of our family," Kerr starts her loving obituary. She was the reason why the family is so close. "You brought so much light and love into this world from everyone you met."
She also owes her grandmother who she is today: "You taught me how to love, look after, cook, believe, have grace, dress, take care of yourself, your husband and your children. You taught me too how to pray, how not to lose humor and how to empathize. " She will carry her legacy further into the world, Kerr promises: "You will continue to live through me, our children and our whole family."
It wasn't until February 14 that the model wrote about his grandfather's funeral in an Instagram post. In the public parting words to her grandmother, Kerr also includes her grandpa as the last sentence: "Push grandpa firmly away from me. I love you both more than words could ever express."
