This annual meeting which celebrates the best of television fiction in Haute-Garonne has just announced the presidents of its juries, the productions in the running and the name of the personality awarded this year his Pyrenees of honor.

After a 100% digital 2020 edition because of the pandemic, it is back in the flesh. The Luchon festival, which rewards television creations, will be held from Monday 7 to Sunday 13 February in Haute-Garonne, in the Pyrenees. Its organization has just lifted the veil on its programming and the members of its various juries. That of fiction will be chaired by the director Coline Serreau, the director of Three men and a bassinet.

This jury will decide between ten TV films, five series, three short programs and four webseries. Among the telefilms in the running we find Handigang, which will be broadcast on TF1, with Alessandra Sublet who takes her first steps as an actress. On the documentary side, the jury will be chaired by journalist Mireille Dumas. This year will have three categories in the 26 selected productions: “history”, “nature / environment” and “society”.

Many TV fiction personalities expected

A new personality will of course be rewarded with the “Pyrenees of honor” prize. After Muriel Robin in 2019 and Mimi Mathy in 2020, André Dussollier will receive this prize. The actor will come to talk about the film Juliet in her bath, which should arrive soon on Arte.

In addition to the 70 programs screened and a few previews, festival visitors expect many fictional personalities such as Francis Huster, Claire Keim, Camille Lou, Sonia Rolland or even Stéphane Bern, who will soon be seen in the skin. of a prosecutor in a series for France 2. This 24th edition of the festival will take place from February 7 to 13.
