Mirja du Mont was the victim of a theft: The model was on the ICE on Saturday. Her suitcase was stolen on the way.

Mirja du Mont (45) wanted to take the ICE back home on Saturday (January 30th) after the recording for the MDR talk show "Riverboat". But the train ride from Leipzig to Hamburg was an expensive affair for them. The reason: your suitcase was stolen. "I put my suitcase diagonally behind me in the suitcase compartment," the model explained to the "Bild" newspaper. Shortly before Hamburg came the nasty surprise: "I wanted to go to the toilet and found that my hard case is gone!".

The estimated damage for the ex of the actor Sky du Mont (73, "Manitou's Shoe") is said to be up to 3,000 euros. Their precious cosmetics alone are said to have been worth several hundred euros. There was also a splint against teeth grinding for 600 euros, ankle boots for 300 euros and a straightening iron for 200 euros in the stolen case.

Childhood lucky charm is "the worst loss"

For Mirja du Mont, however, the theft of her lucky charm from childhood is particularly serious. The "Wum" figure "was gone 40 years, then I found him again. I cried with happiness. That is the worst loss." She cannot expect any compensation from Deutsche Bahn. "Deutsche Bahn assumes no liability in this case," said a spokeswoman for "Bild" when asked.
