“Miskina” (Amazon Prime): the ideal feel good comedy of the fall

Decidedly, Melha Bedia is on all fronts at the moment. Ramzy’s sister was recently on the bill of “Forte” where she played the main role alongside Adèle Exarchopoulos and Alison Wheeler. At the same time, the comedian performed his new one-woman show entitled Fat and Furious. She was also in season 2 of LOL: who laughs, produced by Philippe Lacheau on Amazon Prime Video. It is now as a showrunner that she is illustrated with Miskina, the poor, a series whose first episode was released this Friday, September 30 on Prime Video.

What is it about ?

Miskina is the story of Fara, 30 years old. Without an apartment, without a job, without a guy, but with strong myopia. When your grandmother, your mother and your sister are on your ribs H24, it’s time to wake up and make choices. Between her best friend who is perhaps the man of her life and this new guy a little perched who falls in love with her. Between sparing his mother still stuck on the past and reconnecting with his father. Between constantly veiling the face and finally facing the truth. When life keeps slapping you, you have to take charge and stop being a “miskina”. Beyond his daily life in France, Fara will also return to the land of his ancestors in Algeria to find meaning in his life.

In addition to writing and directing the series, Melha Bedia also plays the main role in the saga. She gives the reply to Shirine Boutella (Christmas Flow and Lupine on Netflix), comedian Hakim Jemili, Victor Belmondo (Albatros, Envole-moi…), Xavier Lacaille and singer Alka Balbir (Rouge, Yves…).
