This Friday, June 24, the jury of the beauty contest met in the gardens of the town hall to elect the one who will represent Tahiti in the Miss France 2023 election. After an evening hosted by Edouard Malakai and Hinarere Taputu, cIt is the magnificent Herenui Tuheiava who won the crown and the scarf of Miss Tahiti 2022. Aged 23, the beauty queen is in charge of communication. From the height of her 77 meter, she was able to seduce the jury, notably composed of Matahari Bousquet Miss Tahiti 2019 or Alberto Vivian. Before the big day, she had done her portrait with the Miss Tahiti committee.
“I am authentic because I am sincere with myself and with others. Determined and passionate, I give my all for what I love, I have goals and I am not afraid to succeed in bringing them to life and to reach them, confided then Herenui Tuheiava. And finally, I am optimistic, I remain very positive about the future despite the obstacles or failures encountered. I see them as opportunities to learn from them and grow.” Miss Tahiti 2022 also described herself as a woman”perfectionist, in the sense that [elle] is falling behind by wanting to do too well”. The Polynesian beauty queen is also a young woman “sensitive to comments”very tasty. Among her models, she readily cited Iris MittenaereMiss France 2015 and Miss Universe 2016.
Herenui Tuheiava ready to “give the best” for Miss France 2023
“Iris Mittenaere for whom I have a lot of admiration because beyond being a world famous personality, she has remained the same, without artifice, simple and accessible”, explained Herenui Tuheiava. Aware of her chances of being elected Miss Tahiti, she then assured that she could “remain optimistic whatever the events” and be “determined” to achieve its goals. Ready to “give the best” by itself “throughout the adventure”, Herenui Tuheiava will therefore try to become the future Miss France, thus succeeding Diane Leyre, elected last December. She will be going to Châteauroux in a few months to send a very specific message: “The key to success is only in determination and the courage to dare”.
