Miss France 2024: Indira Ampiot delivers a final moving speech


Indira Ampiot lives her last hours with the crown of Miss France. After a year of reign, full of meetings and travels, the beauty queen will hand over her title to one of the thirty regional Misses on the stage of the Zénith de Dijon, this Saturday, December 16. Before this page turns, the 19-year-old young woman addressed a final word to the public and viewers. During her speech, Indira Ampiot could not hide her emotion. “A year ago, I left Guadeloupe, my native island, to discover France. I had this chance to discover our regions, our specialties, our culture, our heritage.”, she declared, her voice vibrating. And to continue: “France is beautiful, France is rich. It allowed me to discover you.”

Acclaimed by the public, Cindy Fabre’s protégé then revealed one of her “most beautiful memories”. This was my return to Guadeloupe where I was able to see my family, my friends, the Guadeloupeans, all the people who encouraged me in this great adventure.” From then on, Indira Ampiot was keen “to thank” all these people present and caring towards him during his reign. Very moved, she couldn’t help but have a tender thought for her late grandmotherdied of cancer. “As she said so well: ‘The best is yet to come’. She’s my lucky star.” Throughout these twelve months, Indira Ampiot supported this cause at the Marie Curie Institute. An intense and enriching year which will remain forever engraved in the memory of Indira Ampiot.

Indira Ampiot reveals her plans for the coming year

Aware that her reign was about to end, Indira Ampiot looked at her future. In an interview with TV Star, she lifted the veil on her many projects. If she had to put her studies on hold to devote herself fully to her commitments to the crown, the beauty queen is preparing to return to school life in a European capital. “Next year, I’m going to London for six months to take English lessons, in total immersion”she confided, without giving more details on the professional path in which she intends to embark.

In addition to this “nice transition”Indira Ampiot counts take advantage of the notoriety she has acquired in causes that are close to her heart. “I also want to take a big trip to India with my father and my brother and why not do some action there, take action against poverty. The scarf has the power to reach as many people as possible. I want to use it to help.”, she indicated. And in this busy schedule, Indira Ampiot intends to write a new chapter in her story as Miss. After giving up her place to Diane Leyre, to defend the colors of France in the Miss Universe competition, she hopes to have this experience next year.
