Miss France 2024: the personality who will chair the beauty contest has been designated, and it is rather surprising: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

There are 30 of them on the starting line, but at the end, there will only be one left. On December 16, 2023, the election of Miss France 2024 will be held at the Zénith in Dijon, during a glitter and glitter evening broadcast like every year on TF1, with the indefatigable Jean-Pierre Foucault at the helm as master of ceremonies . Who will inherit the sash and crown of Indira Ampiot, Miss France 2023? The fate of the candidates is partly in the hands of the public, but also of the jury, whose composition has not yet been revealed. However, we know its president, as revealed Tele-Leisure : this is Sylvie Tellier, former director of the beauty contest, who left the keys of the boutique to Cindy Fabre, Miss France 2005. The one who succeeded Geneviève de Fontenay, however, remained honorary president of the Miss France company, after 17 years on the committee. Before her, the jury was notably chaired by the actor Francis Huster in 2022, Iris Mittenaere, former Miss France 2016, in 2021, and the footballer Amandine Henry in 2020.

Sylvie Tellier president of the jury, “a beautiful tribute to pay her”

An inseparable figure from Miss France, Sylvie Tellier had confirmed her departure from the management of the committee in 2022. “This year marks the beginning of a new professional adventure for me. I am turning the page of the Miss France book”, she declared with emotion during the election of Miss France 2023. A new stage in her career which allows the 45-year-old businesswoman, mother of three children, to devote itself to its activity of promoting impactful companies and audiovisual and cinematographic production. During this 94th Miss France ceremony, Sylvie Tellier will have the mission of chairing a jury of six personalities – three men and three women – responsible for deciding between the 15 finalists. The votes of the jurors count half with the public. “She was a manager for 17 years and therefore could not be a member of the jury, while all the former misses were. It is a great tribute to pay her,” said Frédéric Gilbert, the new president of the Miss France Society, during a press conference echoed by Galathis Friday, November 17, 2023.
