After months of rumors, the boss of beauty queens officially leaves the organization and will be replaced by Cindy Fabre, a former Miss. In an interview with “TV Magazine”, Sylvie Tellier explains the reasons for her departure. The one who succeeded Geneviève de Fontenay believes that she has achieved her objectives and now wishes to embark on entrepreneurship.
A page turns at the Miss France. After 15 years as general manager of the competition, Sylvie Tellier is leaving the ship. The former beauty queen explained her decision in an interview with TVMagazine. “I left my position as general manager of Miss France on the evening of August 30. It’s a major life change for me after seventeen years of involvement in the competition. But it’s not my company. , and I wanted to give a new direction to my career”, she justifies herself.
“I want to put my energy at the service of promoting French know-how”
Sylvie says she has “achieved her objectives”, ie modernizing the competition, raising the audiences, and having success in international competitions. She would now like to start a business. “I would therefore like to put my energy at the service of promoting France and its know-how. Some companies, committed to this same ambition, do not have access to the media. I, for my part, have a real knowledge of this world and that of influence, of the assets that I would like to put at their disposal”, she explains in her interview with TVMagazine.
Sylvie Tellier wants the “transition” to go as well as possible
Before embarking on a whole new adventure, the former general manager of Miss France will focus on the transition with the Miss France teams. It is now Alexia-Laroche Joubert who alone assumes the functions of president and general manager of the company Miss France. She chose Cindy Fabre, Miss France 2005, to support her and lead the competition. “Alexia Laroche-Joubert offered me to keep an advisory role alongside them until December, which I accepted, because it was important for me to support our partners until the election. On the other hand , I wanted to leave my job now, because I didn’t want to launch projects for next year. This will be the role of the new teams”, underlines Sylvie Tellier.
She will also present the competition one last time on TF1 with Jean-Pierre Foucault next December.
