As she prepares to participate in the Miss France 2023 contest, Océane Legoff, Miss New Caledonia has made revelations about the hormonal disorder from which she suffers: polycystic ovary syndrome.

In a few days, viewers will be able to crown the new Miss France for the whole of 2023. the names of the Misses in competition have already been revealed and we already know their backgrounds. Among the candidates, Océane Legoff, Miss New Caledonia 2022, made touching revelations about the disease she suffers from for OhMyMag.
The young woman suffers from a hormonal condition called polycystic ovary syndrome. Océane hopes through her message to help women of childbearing age: “That represents 2.5 million women in France. It is a hormonal imbalance that is accompanied by several symptoms”, she said.
The regional Miss then mentioned the problems that this disease can cause : “It can be acne, hair loss, it can be fatigue, pelvic pain. It’s a multitude of symptoms that depend on each woman, so with different intensity”, she confided to our colleagues.

“You will have difficulty having children”
During this interview, Océane Leoff revealed how she learned that she had this disease: “I was in my office with the gynecologist who told me that I had this syndrome, and his first sentence was: ‘You will have difficulty having children’ and period. I started crying, of course, and it’s quite complicated because that accompaniment was missing”, she explained.
Convinced that she can be a great support for other women in her situation, she became the godmother of the Esp’OK association.
