Mission: Impossible 7: Shooting will continue in September

Filming during the Corona crisis? An almost impossible mission for many productions. At the end of April the release of "Mission: Impossible 7" and "Mission Impossible: 8" was postponed due to the pandemic. Now it is clear when and how production can be resumed. Filming will continue from September, the US industry magazine "Variety" reports. The exterior shots therefore start.

Confirmation from Pegg and Gormley

British actor Simon Pegg (50), who can be seen alongside Tom Cruise (57) in the series as Benji Dunn, explains that this is currently "the plan". Of course there are corresponding safety precautions for the work. Pegg joked that you should keep enough distance when fighting scenes. It is not known what the precautions for scenes in which actors are close to one another look like.

Tommy Gormley (52), Assistant Director, also confirmed that things should continue in September. Accordingly, filming is planned from autumn to April or May. The seventh part of the "Mission: Impossible" series is scheduled for release in cinemas in November 2021, chapter eight then a year later, in November 2022.
