Do you know what the sequel to Mission Impossible Fallout will be called? The title of episode 7 of the franchise with Tom Cruise has just been unveiled at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
After Fallout, what will be the title of the new Mission Impossible? On the occasion of CinemaCon, which is currently being held in Las Vegas, Tom Cruise put an end to the suspense by unveiling an unpublished trailer for the film, mentioning the title, and preceded by an intro from a biplane, shot in Africa du Sud on the set of Mission Impossible 8.
mission impossible 7 will be titled Dead Reckoning part.1, thus confirming that episodes 7 and 8 will be a diptych. A title that brings up the word “Dead”, ie “Dead”, but in truth “Dead Reckoning” is a false friend: it does not mean counting the dead.
“Dead Reckoning” is an aviation (or navigation) term, translated as “dead reckoning”. It is used to estimate the position of an airplane or a boat for example.
As reported by Deadline, who saw this trailer, the video shows part of the cast, including Vanessa Kirby and Rebecca Ferguson, with images shot in particular, in the desert, in Venice and in the Vatican.
Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part. 1 will be released in France on July 12, 2023. Mission Impossible 8 is also already dated: see you in theaters on June 26, 2024. Both films are directed by Christopher McQuarrie.
For the record, Mission Impossible Fallout, released on July 1, 2018, had exceeded 3 million admissions in France.
