UPDATE (10/25/2023) – Change of date… and title? The Hollwyood Reporter announces that the next “Mission: Impossible” might not be called “Dead Reckoning – Part 2” and change its approach. Even if it means erasing “Part 1” from the previous film?
Is this really a surprise? When promotion for Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning – Part 1 began last June, Tom Cruise announced that only 40% of the following episode had been canned before the writers’ strike.
Although the movement ended on September 27, the actors are still mobilized since July 14, which prevents filming from resuming.
