Dramatic scenes on Sunday in Ischgl! A mother (39) goes for a walk next to the Trisanna stream with her daughter (3), who she follows in a “children’s bobsleigh”. But suddenly the little girl falls into the stream. The mother doesn’t hesitate for a second and dives after him.
On Sunday around 3:10 p.m., a mother (39) was walking with her daughter (3) on the cross-country ski trail along the Trisanna stream in the Tyrolean municipality of Ischgl. The daughter was brought along in a so-called children’s bobsleigh. “For reasons unknown, the children’s bobsled with the girl sitting in it came off the cross-country ski trail, whereupon the child fell over the embankment into the Trisanna stream,” says the police. Girl taken to hospital The mother immediately hurried after her with presence of mind pulled the girl out of the water. The 39-year-old then had to walk about 50 meters upstream with the child in her arms to get to a suitable place from which both could be rescued using a rope by the notified fire department. The mother was uninjured, but the child suffered from hypothermia and was taken to hospital for further evaluation. She had no obvious injuries.
