After eight years of development, the Novaquark studio has just announced the release date of its ambitious multi-planetary MMORPG project Dual Universe. Scheduled for September 27, 2022, the game will be available on PC via Steam and will benefit from a free trial version.
Dual Universe seems to rely on leaving a great deal of freedom to its players. Indeed, planned on a single server, the title promises that everything can be imagined and built there. The game economy should be controlled by the players themselves. And it is also the players who will have the free choice of forming alliances or going to war. Hoping all the same that there are some limits imposed, so that each player finds his account.
After two years of beta, the game has seen many improvements and new features making their way. We can thus participate in the discovery and exploitation of asteroids, go to space markets or even engage in space battles. On the technical side, new visual effects as well as an improvement in performance should be noted.
Namely, for former players who participated in the beta, it will be possible to come back to the game for free for 2 weeks in order to see for themselves the changes made to the game.
