As part of the international call for tenders for the development of the Chimgan site in Uzbekistan, the tender commission awarded the supply contracts for the 4-season development of the Uzbek mountain resort to the industrial group French MND for a total amount of €100 million.

Co-financed by an inter-governmental loan from the French State supervised by the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development), this project aims to accelerate the development of the tourist site of Chimgan by creating new facilities and 4 season facilities. Located less than 1h30 by road from the capital Tashkent, with nearly 4 million inhabitants, Chimgan aims to become the leading mountain leisure site in Central Asia.

The French group MND (Euronext Growth – FR00140050Q2 – ALMND) was chosen for all 6 lots, for a total amount of €100 million. All of these facilities will be completed over the next three years.

Sardor Minakhmetov, Director of the Chimgan International 4-Season Mountain Resort Construction and Operation Company; attached to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan said:

“We are delighted to award all the lots for the development of the Chimgan site to the French group MND following this tender procedure launched in September 2022. We particularly appreciated the professionalism and expertise of the MND teams throughout this project with the project management of the companies

GEODE, MANIE Lives, PATRIARCHE, EPODE and CDA Management members

of the French Assistance Consortium. There was a good understanding of our strategic issues and our environmental constraints. In addition, visits to sites already equipped by MND confirmed the quality and durability of their equipment. MND’s approach as a single partner, capable of providing us with a global 4-season solution, makes perfect sense to us: it secures us from the project phase right through to completion. We now look forward to seeing this ambitious project become a reality over the next few years.
