Is there a simple alternative to the mobile phone tripod?
If you’re still not sure whether you should invest in a cell phone tripod or whether you only use it infrequently, there’s a very simple trick you can use to make a small tripod out of a paper cup. To do this, turn the cup and cut the bottom diagonally. The sides are also cut approx. 1.5 cm where the diagonal runs. Now all you have to do is clamp your smartphone and you already have a simple tripod for small shots.
