Leaker Tom Henderson has suggested that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 gameplay reveal date is fast approaching.
Modern Warfare 2 will be the sequel to Modern Warfare (2019), the return of the MW series. But apart from that, we still have very little information about this game which should be released at the end of 2022.
We’ve heard that there will be updates to the armory system and that some older weapons should return, but we don’t have anything more to sink our teeth into at this time.
13 years later, Modern Warfare 2 returns to the Call of Duty franchise.
However, if Tom Henderson’s latest report turns out to be correct, everything could change before long.
Tom Henderson suggests that the first images of the game could arrive in the form of a reveal of the campaign mode which would be released on June 2, 2022. This is expected to be announced at E3, but since the event isn’t happening, Call of Duty will be on its own.
“Sources have also suggested that campaign gameplay will be revealed ‘at an event when E3 was supposed to take place’, which should be around the same time as Summer Games Fest 2022.”

“From what I heard, the Modern Warfare 2 reveal trailer is scheduled for June 2. I was told May 30 but it’s the same week.
In addition to that, the leaker revealed some potential information to take with a grain of salt regarding the Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer reveal.
“Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer is expected to be revealed in August, but at this time it’s unclear if this will include a Warzone event, as we’ve seen in the last two Call of Duty reveals.”
For the moment, keep in mind that Activision has not even broached the subject of these dates, so we will probably have to wait a few more weeks before having official information concerning Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
