As you may know, Season 2 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 has been pushed back a few days, only to be released on February 14. To wait, the developers have launched a special weekend, during which the XP will be doubled.
Double XP weekend for MW 2 and Warzone 2.0
This special weekend started on January 26, on PlayStation consoles, but opens to everyone from January 27 in the early evening. Thereby, you will be able to fill up on experience before the start of season 2, in particular by trying to reach the maximum level, 250, before this one is revised upwards with the new update. If you left multiplayer or battle royale behind, now is the perfect time to get back to it. Note that this XP multiplier does not apply to weapons.

For season 2, little information has yet been communicated on the side of Modern Warfare 2. However, we should take advantage of new weapons and maps. Hardcore mode as we know it will be introduced. For the battle royale, the details are more numerous and Activision has promised various changes, such as the Gulag which will return to its 1vs1 format, or a three-plate jacket for each player from the start of the game, with a revised loot system to be more simple (more info on Warzone 2.0 changes for Season 2). DMZ mode, on the other hand, will get more missions.
