Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer will feature tighter maps
In the Call of Duty license, we are used to having many many playable maps, and all very different, ranging from the smallest very narrow, to the largest where you have to run to fall on an enemy ( often conducive to camp). For Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the developers first divided players into three categories in order to create a title that could address three styles of gameplay to allow each of the categories of players to enjoy the game as they should. We therefore have rushers, campers and trackers. As a result, there will be several types of maps with Battle maps as well as so-called normal maps.
For battle maps, players will face a large-scale environment. The developers said they learned a lot from the Call of Duty: Vanguard ones, so the Modern Warfare 2 ones have been shaped in a way that these can be used for both Ground War but also apparently. it for the next Battle Royale experience Call of Duty: Warzone 2.
Re so-called normal maps now, these will be smaller and narrower than what we have experienced in older games, and have been designed exclusively for 6v6 fights. They tend towards smaller and narrower play spaces, with less verticality. Among the Multiplayer maps, players will be able to find Museum, taking place in Spain and strongly inspired by the Getty museum, that of Grand Prix with a race circuit located in Asia, as well as Farm 18 which is neither more nor less than a training center located in a former cement factory.
We remind you that it is on August 7th that we should have the right to the first official images of the Multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
