(AOF) – Moderna and life sciences company Thermo Fisher Scientific have entered into a long-term agreement to collaborate on large-scale manufacturing of the Covid-19 vaccine and other therapies based on its mRNA technology. The two companies have previously worked together to support Moderna’s pipeline, with Thermo Fisher providing clinical research and manufacturing services, including aseptic fill and finish services and Covid vaccine packaging.
The expanded agreement will allow them to offer capabilities for other fill-finish services and provide inspection, labeling and final packaging services.
