Four days after its cruel elimination in the Champions League play-offs against Chakhtar Donetsk, Monaco rebounded well by winning, in Troyes (2-1), its first victory of the season in Ligue 1, on the fourth day, Sunday August 29.
ASM, with a solid performance and more pronounced efficiency than in Ukraine, can thank its young attacking midfielder Sofiane Diop, author of a decisive double (40e, 58e). Ruben Aguilar, by equalizing against his camp, as against Chakhtar Donetsk, had relaunched the Estac in the meantime (51e).
