Monday: 5 tricks to start the week motivated

If we all lie very quietly, Monday may not see us. It would be nice. Instead, these tips might help. It's worth a try!

Admittedly, Monday is not the most popular day of the week. And for a change that's pretty nicely put, compared to what Monday had to hear from us. Even on Sunday evening, one dreads the next morning. You wake up and your motivation is over the top. Replenishment is needed!

1. The calm before the storm

Just start the day comfortably. By this we don't mean to press the snooze button repeatedly until you finally get up on the last button. As tempting as the bed may be, getting up a little earlier and relaxing and making a coffee works wonders.

2. Close your eyes and through

Somehow and at some point you finally have to start. However, it is best to start with the small tasks first. You will quickly experience small successes and the day will get off to a better start than if you tried to cope with a monster task right at the beginning.

3. A bad mood shared is a bad mood half

We actually do a lot of things right, for example scolding about Monday at work. After all, we're all in the same boat and a few snappy comments will make you and your colleagues smile. In addition, Monday is perfect as a scapegoat. So if nothing works – just postpone it to Monday.

4. Trick the psyche

Plan for highlights for Monday that you can look forward to. Be it a delicious dinner or a little coffee chat with your best friend during the lunch break. It is well known that anticipation is the greatest joy.

5. Monday motivator instead of Monday mussel

Isn't it also the damned point of view that messes up Monday? Because the day is actually perfect as a new beginning. Everything that you put off so successfully last week can be done on Monday and thus throw away unnecessary ballast of to-dos that haunt the back of your head. Incredibly liberating!
