The 44-year-old Austrian was looking for unlocked parked cars in Inzing on October 30. The door of one of the vehicles was actually not locked, whereupon the man searched the car, found a purse left in the vehicle and stole it. First escaped Because the car owner and his wife noticed the car door being opened, they tried to apprehend the perpetrator. However, the crook was able to escape unnoticed, and an immediately initiated search was unsuccessful. After extensive investigations by officers of the Zirl police in cooperation with the State Criminal Police Office, the 44-year-old local could now be identified as a suspect. He is reported to the public prosecutor’s office while he is still at large.
