Lidl recently had a big sale on the smart food processor Monsieur Cuisine. Is the discounter emptying its warehouses to release a new model?

Update from March 8th: It was strange – after the discount campaign for the Monsieur Cuisine Smart was over, the price was increased, then the food processor suddenly disappeared from the online shop.
That could have suggested a complete sale and a new model of the popular machine, after all, the Thermomix TM7 is also expected soon. However, an update doesn’t seem to be the case at Lidl, because Monsieur Cuisine Smart is back in the online shop. There may have been an error here or the ad may have been revised.
However, anyone who is interested in the device is currently looking into the tube. The price is again at the recommended retail price of 499 euros. We advise you to be patient. There are regular promotions with price reductions and so the model should soon be available at a lower price again. Alternatively, the predecessor Monsieur Cuisine Connect is also available from time to time.

In its online shop, Lidl offers smart food processors with a good price-performance ratio with its Monsieur Cuisine range. Monsieur Cuisine Connect was a bestseller in 2018, with the Monsieur Cuisine smart coming in 2022, a further developed successor that was supposed to catch up to the Thermomix TM6. As our test showed, the Lidl machine does this too.
The “new” model offers new, smart functions. For example, you can now control the food processor via WiFi and voice commands. Other new features are also new, such as “Video Guided Cooking” and various automatic programs, including “Boil eggs”, “Slow Cook”, “Fermentation”, “Smoothie”, “Cook rice” and “Pre-rinse”.
The touch display has grown from 7 to 8 inches, and the blender jug has an additional handle for one-handed operation. As befits your status, you will also receive a number of accessories, including a stirring and knife attachment, a steamer attachment, a spatula and much more.
If you don’t want to or can’t spend over 1,000 euros on a Thermomix TM6, the Lidl machine is an inexpensive alternative that can definitely hold a candle to the Vorwerk device. There are a variety of automatic programs and lots of recipes to cook.
