Monster Hunter Rise could be coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series in 2023

The year 2023 will be rich in new content for monster hunter rise and its extension Sunbreakbut it could also see the birth of unexpected ports for the game. One would think that this episode would remain a Switch and PC exclusive, given that Capcom had never shown a desire to offer Xbox and PlayStation versions of this title, but things could change as early as 2023, at least according to Insider Gaming sources.

A port expected for the beginning of the year?

According to information from Tom Henderson, Capcom is reportedly planning to release PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series versions of monster hunter rise. These versions will undoubtedly be based on the PC version, and would aim for the sacrosanct 4K/60 fps, with 3D audio support.

We learn that this port could be revealed at the Game Awards next week, which would be logical if the rumor is true. These ports would then come out very quickly, since the release date that is indicated here is that of January 20, 2023. The title could also happen directly in Xbox Game Pass. The extension Sunrise would be released in the spring of 2023.

We will take this information with a grain of salt, awaiting a response from Capcom.
