After more than 11 million games distributed on PC and Nintendo Switch, monster hunter rise will be coming to PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as Xbox Game Pass. The action-RPG will be available on these new platforms from January 20, 2023.
Last installment of the saga, Monster Hunter Rise takes place in the village of Kamura. A place known until now as peaceful, attracting visitors both with its unique culture and innovative hunting technologies. But everything changes after the events known as the Calamity, which cause an unprecedented gathering of destructive Monsters around the village. To go on a hunt, players will have to equip themselves with the most suitable armor and can choose from the 14 types of weapons offered.
Each victory against the different monsters allows hunters to obtain new materials. And therefore to make unique weapons and armor that increase their chances of survival for the next hunting parties. Playable solo, the title can also be played with three other hunters in online cooperation.
