Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, new creatures and gameplay features introduced in videos

We are only a few days away from the launch of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, which got a demo and a whole lot of information earlier this month. This did not prevent him from inviting himself for a long time at the start of the Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase with new videos and details to entice players.

So we can face the formidable Shagaru Magala from Monster Hunter 4, the Rajang storm and the Enraged Magnamalo as soon as this extension is released, while an update in August will add the Vulcan Bazelgeuse in addition to the Selenite Nargacuga.

The Shagaru Magala is the adult form of Sunbreak’s signature monster: the Gore Magala. Time has allowed this monster to become even more powerful and ferocious than its initial form, endowing it with relentless aggression. Hunters tasked with taking on this monumental threat must be ready for anything or they will end up on the daily menu. The Rajang Orage and the Bazelgeuse Vulcan are also wreaking havoc on the Kingdom. As well as the enraged Magnamalo, a new variant of Monster Hunter Rise’s flagship monster. This nimble predator sports even thicker spiked armor to augment its deadly attacks, making each strike a potential one-way trip to the Monster Hunter graveyard.

A new set of High Rank, S black beltand the evolution trees of the weapons of the Defender are them in the spotlight of another video.

The Black Belt S set can be acquired by visiting Senri the postman at the start of the game, and provides enough defensive characteristics to withstand attacks from High Rank monsters. Defender weapons introduced in Monster Hunter Rise now have High Rank evolution trees that can be forged. These upgraded weapons will deal enough damage to overcome any obstacle in the hunters journey to Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is expected on June 30 on Switch and PC, and you can buy it to the Fnac for €59.99 with the base game.
