Monster Hunter Stories: the first episode of the 3DS soon to return in a beautiful remaster

This year, the license Monster Hunter will celebrate its 20th anniversary. However, the next main episode will not arrive before 2025, the ambitious Monster Hunter Wilds which amazed us during its revelation during the last Game Awards. Capcom will however have a little something for the players, but which will unfortunately not be really new. After releasing on Switch and PC Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin in the summer of 2021 and supported it for a few months via content updates, it is therefore the 3DS episode of 2016-2017 already ported to Android and iOS which will make its return.

Monster Hunter Stories first of the name will therefore land on Switch, PS4 and PC (Steam) during the summer of 2024. Yes, not even a PS5, this shows the ambition of the project. However, it will benefit from reworked graphics (still happy considering the rendering of the time), the presence of content that was only accessible to Japanese players via updates 1.2 and 1.3and in one mode Museum. It will also be fully dubbed in Japanese and Englishand will include Chinese (traditional and simplified), Korean, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish and Arabic as new languages.

If Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin interests you, it is sold on PC by Gamesplanet priced at €35.99.
