Moodys raises Airbus A2 rating outlook to stable

PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–The rating agency Moody’s announced on Monday that it has raised the outlook for the “A2” credit rating of the aircraft manufacturer Airbus from “negative” to “stable”. This decision is based in particular on the “rigorous execution” by the company of the measures having helped it to get through the crisis linked to the coronavirus pandemic “without damage to the capital structure so far”. Airbus should benefit from “more tangible and more solid prospects for recovery, with passenger traffic expected to gradually recover,” said Moody’s. The rating agency also underlines the “continuation of the prudent financial policy” carried out by the aircraft manufacturer. ([email protected]) editor: DID
