PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Financial rating agency Moody’s Investors Service on Friday upgraded the credit rating of automaker Stellantis from “Baa3” to “Baa2”, with a “stable” outlook. Moody’s previous rating for Stellantis came with a “positive” outlook. The rating upgrade takes into account, among other things, “progress made by Stellantis in terms of improving margins and leverage”, said analyst Matthias Heck. “The stable outlook takes into account strong liquidity and margins, which should remain at the level required for the Baa2 rating category, even in times of supply difficulties, inflation of raw materials and energy costs and deterioration in household confidence,” added Matthias Heck.
