Moped driver injured – escape from officials ends with a crash in a police car

A moped driver (16) engaged in a wild chase with the police in Buch in the Tyrolean Zillertal on Friday. The youngster was noticed because he was traveling without a license plate. However, he ignored the arrest and fled. Only the collision with a police car stopped him.

At around 5 p.m., the 16-year-old drove his moped on the L218 in Buch, heading north. Since he was driving without a license plate, the police tried to stop him. However, the young person ignored this, continued his journey and subsequently disregarded several stops and speed restrictions. “Through a number of risky overtaking maneuvers, other road users were forced to swerve and suddenly slow down and thereby endangered,” the officials say.

Crashed into a police car when he fell
After several unsuccessful attempts to stop, the boy finally fell, crashing into a police car of all things.
