Moreover, at the scene, the authorities found 2 knives with broken blades as well as a bloody umbrella, reports The Parisian. The main suspect : his own son who would also have hurt his sister. It was the latter who would have alerted the emergency services.

The suspect, a 25-year-old man, was also hospitalized with his injuries. “His police custody was lifted on Friday morning due toan incompatible mental state with such a measure“, announced Bastien Diacono, deputy prosecutor of Lorient. “The 23-year-old sister had called the police claiming that her brother had stabbed their mother and that she was also injured”again according to the insider.

This family, originally from New Caledonia, had lived in this city for almost 3 years, according to West France. The father of the family was absent when the incident took place.
