Since its launch in 2019, Mordhau has only been available on PC, through Steam. This had not prevented him from experiencing success and being quite well received by the players. I have to say that the experience proposed by Mordhau is quite similar to Chivalry, which had not yet had a sequel, at the time. In an attempt to restart the machine, although it is running at an average of 2,000 concurrent users, Mordhau is coming to new platforms.
Mordhau is coming to consoles
Indeed, as the developers have indicated, through a trailer, Mordhau comes to PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series. Triternion, however, gave no date, other than a vague “ coming soon “, at the end of the video.
Knowing that Mordhau is not yet compatible with controllers on PC, no doubt that the biggest part of the work, if we put aside the optimization part, is the controller support. We should know more in a few weeks, since the arrival of Mordhau on these new platforms is imminent.
If you don’t know the title, or just forgot what it was about, know that Mordhau offers medieval battles, with period weapons, such as swords, axes or even bows on maps that can bring together several dozen players (up to 80). The title had sold half a million copies in the space of a week and has since improved considerably. Moreover, the opinions on Steam are positive, testifying to the quality of the experience.
